Weighted Swings

This dynamic movements is great for engaging the back of the legs and 🍑. Use a light weight and it's a great warm-up. Use a heavier weight and you now have a great movement to strengthen your explosive hip power, perfect for when you have to hoist that heavy bag of dog food into the trunk of your car.

- Feet in squat stance
- Start with object in both arm between the legs at level of hips
- Palms facing body
- Hinge at hips with butt back/flat back/knees soft
- Squeeze butt and catapult object forward and up
- Making a semi circle trajectory, punch at lockout with elbow next to ear
- Abs/butt/quads squeezed at top
- Lower down with control, catch weight at the hips again, perform continuously like a metronome
