Cooking for a Cause

ook with us! No Limit Cooking and Gymparty are teaming up together for a fun Cook-a-long experience. Cook in real-time with Bao and Coach Janet or watch and laugh with/at them while they make a family favorite dish, Vietnamese Shaking Beef!

This event is donate-what-you-can and ALL the proceeds will go to benefit the #Imready movement which raises visibility around self-identified AAPI women and their experiences with #MeToo, racial discrimination, war, immigration, and more.

During the event, attendees can have a little fun with donating a little extra by:

- Make Bao and Janet take a shot
- Cook with their eyes closed
- Serenade you with a duet
- And much more!

What You'll Need

Ingredients:
Bo Luc Lac Ingredients:
1 lb Beef Steak of Choice (Tenderloin, Sirloin, Ribeye, NY Strip, etc.), 1-inch cubed
1/4 large yellow onion, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
3-4 tablespoons vegetable/canola oil, for cooking
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon Maggi Seasoning
~1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon fish sauce
½ teaspoon crushed black pepper
1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Salad Ingredients:
6 ounces red leaf lettuce or lettuce of choice, cleaned and chopped
1 Roma tomato, sliced
1/2 cucumber, sliced

Equipment:
Wok or Frying pan

Note: This bo luc lac is best eaten with a side of steamed rice and salad.
